TLI or The League International (http://tlicycling.org.uk) are an organisation similar to the LVRC promoting age categorised races although in the case of the TLI they promote events for all ages from juniors to the very wrinkly. However, TLI events are generally held in the more northerly quarters of the UK. There is very little south of London.
The only events in regular commuting range of us are some regular Tuesday evening handicap races held on the North Weald Airfield near Harlow (so still quite a trip!). However, membership at £10 a year is a bargain and the TLI do promote age category National Championships for both Road Race and Criterium events (with very handsome champion’s jersey’s on offer at both).
