Ride bikes. Have fun. Feel good.

Sussex CA 23

Mike Anton reports: Pete Tadros of InGear set a new course record of 54:02 on the Sussex Cycling Assoc. Sporting 22 round Staplefield.

The course is pretty hilly but this and the now almost compulsory rain didn’t Peter Tadros from his sterling ride.

The organiser, Steve Dennis of East Grinstead CC, had grouped the fast boys at the end of the field and their 2 minute start intervals would keep things very tight. In the end Tadros was over 2 mins clear of 2nd place man Tim Stevens of 34th Nomads.

Things might have been different had Chris Yates of InGear not had a technical ‘opportunity’ when he parted company with his saddle! As it was, Chris still finished 3rd.
