The wind had dropped and only a hint of rain so conditions were good for a maybe a course PB along the A22 near Uckfield on G25/89.
Off at 06:53 so quite early and having not been feeling 100% all week nearly talked myself out of it 
I was the only EG rider on the start sheet so thought I should get the lycra on and go for it.
Had a good race and was only a second off my PB and improved my course time by 94 secs so can’t grumble.
