Steve Dennis notched up his 2nd open win this season after a two week
lay-off from competition.
Off no.120 in the South Eastern RC 25 on the G25/53 Broadbridge Heath
course, in near-perfect conditions, he had a “scratch-man” reputation
to fulfil.
He responded with a 52:26. A 2min 21sec winning margin over
2nd placed Mark Winton of Lewes Wanderers and only 3 seconds off his PB
for this course.
His only grumble on the event was the amount of idiot
car drivers who don’t know how to negotiate roundabouts with cyclists
on them!
