What a difference a week makes…. the weather was back to business as usual with 6 degrees and a brisk northerly wind for the SCCU 10 at Horsham on Saturday morning.
3 EGCC riders on the start sheet and after lengthy attempts at warming up we were all on the road within a 15 minute window.
Christian Yates got 9th place with 21:55 and was within a minute of his impressive 21:00 the previous Saturday. Ben Houston was over a minute back with 23:04 and well adrift of his midweek 21:49 while Paul Winkley recorded 25:39 for a respectable margin compared to 24:45 last Saturday. Definately on the comeback trail now Paul.
For the overall it was a 1-2 for Chris and Simon McNamara with 20:08 and 20:32 respectively. Seems the weather didn’t trouble them too much…
