Prudential Ride London Surrey 100

The club have had a couple of messages from charities who have spare places on the Prudential Ride London Surrey 100. If you are interested please find details below.

Tommy’s, the baby charity would like to offer you and the members of East Grinstead CC the opportunity to take part in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 on Sunday 2 August 2015. Tommy’s will provide entry for free, however riders will be required to raise £350 for Tommy’s in return.

If you cycle for Tommy’s you’ll get first class care! Riders will be provided a Tommy’s cycling top, fundraising support, a dedicated contact at Tommy’s, an online community so they can chat to other Tommy’s cyclists, regular phone calls to keep you motivated and access to our free online shop to enable you to order whatever fundraising materials they need!

Could you please share the below information with the members of East Grinstead CC, as Tommy’s would love to help with fundraising as soon as possible.

‘Does anyone fancy taking part in RideLondon for Tommy’s the baby charity? Entry is FREE and the fundraising target is just £350! They will support you every step of the way and you will be helping to fund research to save babies’ lives. They are looking for 260 cyclists so please share with everyone you know. Visit www.tommys.org/ridelondon to sign up now!’

Hello! I am a fundraising intern with Friendship Works, a charity that supports disadvantaged children aged 5 – 16 in Islington and Camden by providing them with an adult volunteer mentor. We have some available places in the RideLondon event this year, and are looking to fill them. Would you be able to get the message out to your club about this wonderful opportunity? We are asking that they raise £650 to ride for us. If you have any questions or want more information, feel free to contact me at fundraisingvolunteer@friendshipworks.org.uk, or if anyone is interested in getting involved they can contact events@frienshipworks.org.uk. Thanks!
