Brian Phillips rode his first club 10 of the year, and despite lacking knowledge of those tight corners, managed to roll his fixed wheel round in a time of 23-20, bettered only by SD this year. SD could only stand and watch (as sunbathing marshall) as a warm evening greeted the 12 starters after the slightly adverse conditions the previous 2 weeks.

PB was the nearest to challenge getting close to his best time on this course but some 26 seconds in arrears of Brian.
TB sneaked 3rd from MA by just 1 sec. Surely MA will learn not to go riding 100’s now – see what it does to your legs!
Special mention also for AS, recording a pedestrian 27-11, holidays – also not good for the legs!
SD leads overall with 108 pts MA on 82. PB out of it in 3rd on 51.
SD also leads Vets with 66 and it will be tough for TB on 48 to close. AS 38.
MA has almost got the Seniors won, despite 7 events remaining. Hes on 66 with MW on 39, PB 37.
