Setting his best time on the club course this year PB won the club ten by a comfortable distance. The blustery conditions were not particularly favourable to fast times but with fast men Dennis and Anton absent for a second week there were plenty of points up for grabs.
With only 6 starters all were guaranteed points as long as you finished. Not
necessarily a straight forward task for Ted B of course, as he usually has at least one puncture per year and this was the night. Luckily the puncture didn’t develop until towards the end of the course and he made it home in 5th place.
SD still holds onto the overall lead, but now surrenders the Vets competition to AS. Should be a tight battle for that one. MA and UB have comfortable leads in the senior/ladies. AS now also leads the handicap comp but with 15 points to the winner its still all to play for.
