Ride bikes. Have fun. Feel good.

I can’t separate them…

Nine riders turned out for the East Grinstead Cycling Club’s 13 mile hilly event around the picturesque surroundings of Ashdown Forest. For the second week in a row, Steve Dennis won though Mike Anton ran him close. Dennis finished the course, running from Gill’s Lap to Groombridge, then Hartfield and up Chuck Hatch, in 35 minutes and eight seconds, while Mike followed him home in 36m18s.

Dropping to third was Paul Blackmore, Dennis’s usual competitor at the head of the field with a time of 38m06s while taking fourth was Paul Harris, making a rare appearance, on 40m07s.

Special mention goes to Ben Hardisty and Matt Willis who battled it out for the whole 13 miles only to dead heat on 43m13s – for equal last place!
