Almost perfect conditions greeted the three East Grinstead visitors, the only worry being the threat of volcanic ash. Seventeen degrees of warm sunshine and low wind made for a welcome change.
Stefano made the most of it and dipped under the hour for the first time. Ted and Ben put in semi respectable early season times.
