Last night saw the return of the Club Evening 10 Time Trials at Horne !
The three way roadworks were removed with a few hours to spare and the sun came out for some brilliant conditions !
John Rogers (EGCC) pipped Keith Lea (Paceline) to the victory for the men’s competition, with only 3 seconds separating them on 24:05 and 24:08
The Ladies competition was hotly contested, Cass Volmer (EGCC) took the win with just a 4 second lead over Anna Roe (EGCC) on her very first Time Trial event !
As is tradition, the first club TT event of the season is dedicated to the memory of Mick Robinson and is also a fixed wheel competition, Jools Scutter (EGCC) took this win !
Well done to Janice as well for also taking part in her first Club TT, presrenting the ladies who impressively accounted for 25% of the field
Many thanks to the timekeepers, helpers and marshals without whom the event wouldn’t happen – Angela, Russ, Barbara, Colin, Ben, Gemma and Lewis, photos courtesy Chris P

Please be aware that quite often there are horse riders on the same roads. Ride considerately, make it known you are approaching and slow down when passing
London South DC strongly recommend that riders do not wear black or dark clothing during any event held on the public road. LSDC have asked that all event organisers add this to their event briefing information from now on and support our continuing commitment to improving rider safety by making riders far more visible on the roads.
