This 10 on the East Hoathly – Boship course proved to be the start of a good weekend for EGCC.
Despite the misty conditions, and a fairly strong northerly wind, Paul, Ted and myself managed to win the team prize.
Paul went round in 22:30, I managed 22:51, Ted did a storming 24:11 and John Geal put in a rare and welcome appearance to record 29:40.
Ted was 2nd Vet on standard, though he was over a minute behind 1st place legend, Mr Featherstone of Eastbourne Rovers. If Harry does ever stop cycling, then Ted’s got a strong chance to take over Harry’s crown.
