Mr Mark Bashford returned from doing that swimming, bike, run thing to stun Mr Anton and Mr Seltzer into the minor placings by winning the second of the clubs tests on Ashdown Forest. His 35-13 wasn’t that far in front but good enough to take max points.
MA has had the better of AS in recent weeks but AS pulled off an excellent ride to record 35-37. Despite riding in his office suit MA proved he still has good form coming in just 5 seconds down on AS with 35-42.
Disappearing in the other direction, PB struggled home in 37-15 for 4th EGCC rider, but beaten by Lewes Wanderers guest Peter Barling 36-56.
PW and BH both improved from last time and Ute put in an impressive 2 minute beating of her previous time. No doubt inspired by her future husband taking one handed photos.
