After a very wet day in East Grinstead it was a surprise to turn up to a very dry Horne 10 course!
Only four hardened souls faced the timekeeper with Winkley having ridden out opting for mudguards and full wet weather gear.
Ben Houston was again trialing his mono tri bar set up [the other having fallen off again!] and was off first followed by Winkley and Boorman. Steve Dennis was a late starter having been delayed at work. It could potentially have been a mass finish but with Ben’s ‘mechanical’ it was left to Boorman and Winkley to sprint it out for the line, Boorman getting the decision in the photo!
