The event was The Charlotteville CC on Sat 26th May on a warm afternoon managing to miss the rain & the weekend monsoon !
Statistics were: Time 58.39, Placed 3rd on Vets Standard, actual plus of 20.51 however the winning time was 48.36 by a certain Mr Huthcinson.
The course was the H25/8 which uses the Farnham – Alton by pass – its actually a 1 & 1/2 lap course so you pass the start after about 18 miles for a 2nd leg
its my fastest time for 10 years at least, but I’ll have to go some to beat my best of 54.55 set in 1978 !! Now I want to get under 2hrs for a 50 !!
