For further information or to purchase a badge contact Martin Malins Martin.malins@(remove this)egcc.net

Note to organisers;
If there are any events which have not been listed above please let us know, we regularly scan the AUK calendar for eligible rides. An event does not have to be listed here to be eligible. We are currently without any rides in the series starting in some of the counties. Please contact us if you would like any publicity material or a badge to display at your event; or if you wish to devise a new event or revive a previous one.

Rules;

1. Any event in the qualifying series (ie 100km or over; submitted to AUK for AAA points, starting within the specified counties and advertised in the AUK calendar) is valid. 2. The 5 rides must all be completed within the same AUK calendar year ie 1 Nov to 31 Oct. 3. “DIY+ Calendar” rides no longer exist so any eligible event which is extended to a longer distance is eligible. 4. Any permanent or “DIY by GPS” ride anybody wishes to organise which qualifies for rule 1 will be valid; although proof of completing such a ride will need to be submitted separately to myself 5. The IOW Randonnee is not an AUK ride but has been measured as having the required amount of climbing and distance and is therefore included as a discretionary qualifying ride only for the first time the Brevet is claimed by a rider as it often encourages riders to participate in hilly AUK events which is the main purpose of the award (the Randonnee and “round the island” ride is otherwise eligible as a DIY by GPS ride see rule 4). 6. A list of all qualifying riders (and non-AUK members who have claimed the Brevet ) will be displayed as soon as riders have qualified.
