Bashford wins in convincing style

The absence of Messrs Dennis and Blackmore last night gave the rest of us a chance to earn some points!

The conditions were pretty good for early May, a state Mr Winkley ruefuly commented on, having swapped marshalling duties.

Gary and Sarah Williams were over (on holiday??!)and added to the mix of results, especially in the ladies competition, which is starting to look like it’s going to be hotly contested this year.

Mark’s winning time of 24:20 was 35 sec quicker than Anton’s course PB of 24:55.

Chairman Seltzer took honours in the vets and third overall with 25:29

Places 8 – 11 were also very tight with Messrs Rollason and Horrigan tying for 8th place.

Normal service will be resumed next week, both on the results and when Ben’s back and can write these reports up properly!
