MA returned to some decent form (finally) by winning his first 10 series event this year by a comfortable margin, recording close to his best with 25-10. In a poor turnout for the last 10, in total 8 riders, PW claimed 2nd recording his best time on the course with a (remarkable) 26-06. TB was 3rd in 26-31 and RD, also doing his fastest ride this year, 4th in 27-38.
AS, after much searching, finally located his TT bike and this persuaded PB that he might be up to the task of a 2-up. Looking to do what would have been the only sub-23 this year, they just missed out with 23-11. This despite the incentive of trying to catch what looked like another 2-up in the closing miles. So SD, absence on hols, remains with the best time this year – 23-00.
Next week is the last week, which means the hill climb at Weirwood. Start is 1845. Bring your lights!

BP kept the club name in the paper on Sunday by winning the Kent CA 50 with a short 2-01. Conditions were too windy for him to improve on his BBAR time. Look out for BP’s name in the BBAR tables – currently 10th.
