Our summer evening time trial season has attracted a growing number of youngsters in the junior and youth age categories from our own club as well as visiting club members. Newcomers can have a free ‘come and try it’ ride. Participants must be 12 years of age or over.
Instead of having the kids hanging around the house, why not take them to the Herne Hill holiday club ?
At Herne Hill school holiday clubs run every day of the Easter and Summer Holidays and at all 3 Half-Terms. During Easter, Summer and October. Advanced Holiday Coaching is also provided, a separate group for older, experienced riders, on Thursdays. Bikes are provided as part of the holiday club session.
Bedgebury Forest now encompasses kilometres of exciting bike trails, for beginners through to biking veterans. Simply park up, get on your bike and hit the dirt. Bikes can be hired at Quench cycles who are on site at Bedgebury.
Go-Ride is British Cycling’s development programme for young people. The programme provides a fun and safe way to introduce young riders to the world of cycle sport and provides a platform to improve bike handling skills.
