The route was based on East Grinstead, devised for CTC by Keith Bulter of Surrey League fame. With four distances, 35, 80, 115 and 150km, we chose the latter. The event attracted 150 riders in total for all four distances, with a good proportion choosing the full version. From East Grinstead the ride followed the pink highlight clockwise to Groombridge, then the yellow loop clockwise, returning to Groombridge, then back to East Grinstead on the remaining pink section.  |
