ICF

ICF (International Cycling Federation) is the international body to which both LVRC and TLI are affiliated. This is the international governing body of the “alternative” national bodies. Belgium and Holland seem to be the hot bed of ICF affiliated bodies – the benefit here being that if you have an LVRC or a TLI license you are eligible to compete in a vast array of events over the channel in Belgium and Holland.

Racing there is fast and furious with unlimited fields meaning that pelotons of over 100 riders in “vets” events are common. The ICF World Championships are held over the first weekend in August; are generally held in either Belgium of Holland (2014 is in Holland) and are open to all who wish to enter. So unlimited field size = 150 odd riders down Belgium farm tracks = awesome!
