Sat on the shorter event over 18km it was a glorious afternoon and the course record was broken by over a minute, as for us ladies I narrowly gained 1st place over Jaquie Neave in a reasonable time of 34.12.

For two brave (or stupid) souls, the 2007 TT season started early when Ange
Nainby and Steve Dennis lined up for the GS Stella hilly time trials at the
week end.
Saturday afternoon’s 18km event, which went from Storrington to
Whiteways roundabout and back including the grueling climb of Houghton hill,
was run off in unseasonably warm conditions which resulted in the 5- year-old
course record being broken 4 times.
Dennis did not ride but Ange did, and
put her form to good use by scooping top place in the womens event with
a time of 34:12.
