and so it was!
Our little time trial mirrored the close result in the TT at the Tour de France later in the day only more so, the final result being decided by just one second!
The event was won by Keith Coffey in 20.34 by just one second from Christian Yates.
Club honours were equally close with Paul Winkley 24.15, Richard Woodward 24.16 and part time ‘Grinnie’ Steve Rollason 24 21. Ute Woodward continues to improve on her ‘new’ wheels at 28.29.

East Surrey Road Clubs’ 43rd promotion of their annual hilly time trial
around the lanes south of Dorking.
