A lovely balmy evening awaited the riders on last night’s Ashdown Hilly time trial. A fresh south westerly meant the first mile or two was a bit of a struggle but pretty good conditions otherwise.
Mark Bashford cemented his place at the top of the leaderboard with a solid win but closely chased by Super Grimpeur Nick Martin and Mikey Weavers who battled it out for second spot. Great to see three ladies competing, Emily first home with a cracking ride under 40 minutes and Gemma and Daisy not too far behind. Near the back of the field Ben could be heard creaking up the final climb.
