Further to my bleating on about the conditions yesterday, I’ve just got back from a ride out to cheer on the riders in the ESCA 100. The wind was so
strong and the driving rain was like someone poking needles in my eyes that it made yesterdays experience seem like a walk in the park!
Hats off to all who completed the race – including our own Ange Nainby. I didn’t stick around for the results, but it looked like Mr Coffey was set to take the honours with possibly a sub 4 hour ride. I wonder what conditions Mike Anton had to contend with in the SCA 100 over at Liphook? – I guess we’ll find out in due course.
