My first ride back after knee surgery …my knee felt fine …it was my legs …where were they ?!
As seems to be the norm with this event the weather threatened to intervene, raining minutes before we started and then again minutes after we finished, but in between it held off.
The usual suspects occupied the top placings, special mentions to Ted Boorman and Paul Winkley maintaining their good season form and clocking good times. The highlight of the evening was the spectacular “elbows out” sprint finish between Ute and John with Ute edging it by a couple of bike lengths.
Finally well done to Mike Anton who after his pushing off duties then proceeded to appear in about 5 different places around the course snapping away.
