Tuesday the 31st of May proved a happy hunting ground for time trialling cyclists looking for fast times at the 5th round of the East Grinstead Cycling Club evening series.
Steve Dennis once again failed to disappoint, only narrowly missing out on a sub-23 minute time over the ten mile course. Averaging over 26mph, Dennis left the field in his wake with the second placed man, Paul Blackmore, nearly a minute and a half behind.
The fight for the remaining places was more competitive with Mike Anton scraping ahead of Steve Price, and Mark Bashford, Andy Seltzer and Ted Boorman finishing within a seven second period.
